Limited by his circumstances, he utilises everyday materials – leather scraps, discarded plastic bottle caps, and even repurposed yellow rickshaw tarpaulin – to craft innovative and stylish shoes. His ingenuity extends beyond functionality, incorporating a unique "add-on" system. These interchangeable elements, inspired by his surroundings, allow wearers to personalise their footwear and foster a sense of community through exchange with friends. It embodies the spirit of resourcefulness and represents the potential for extraordinary innovation to emerge from even the most ordinary and jugaadu beginnings, much like the spirit of India itself. |
