| Description: | I took the brand name seriously, Urban + Monkey. So what if I were to take the best of both worlds integrating them into a pair of EVA Mules. Why mules, cause of our tropical weather, the culture of shoe stands, easy in & easy out. Inspired from the Birkenstock Boston's for their tried & tested global shape, the Urbanstomper features a toes-like shapes on the vamp for that 'monkey-foot' feel but also providing much-needed breathability for the feet. Coupled with that distinctive "UM" street aesthetic language, I have tried to re-use many elements in my concept to make it more relatable for the UM legends, for better brand recall & to adhere to the brand's design language. Lastly, the design is 3D Modelled & is ready to 3D Print. |
